Johnny Skilsaw:
An unusual NYC/East Village band most active in the mid 90s- centered around Jay Wasco and his Swiss Army Bass& other outcroppings of unconventional music and inventions. The Band often performed at CBGB and Brownies through it's various incarnations wowing NYC audences with indefinable musical prowess. Johnny Skilsaw became quite successful gaining the attention and assistance of notables such legendary record producer Jack Douglas and signed with Tag/Atlantic in early 96 and again with Wild Pitch Records in '98. Tag imprint was discontinued Wild Pitch folded - thus the two LPs were never formally released.
